"Inclina agora a tua fronte e escuta bem, ó Bodhisattva – a compaixão fala e diz:

‘Pode haver felicidade quando tudo quanto vive ainda sofre?

Quererás salvar-te ouvindo todo o mundo chorar?’

Agora ouviste o que se disse: chegarás ao sétimo degrau e atravessarás a porta do conhecimento final,

mas só para tomares a dor por esposa –

se queres ser Tathâgata, seguir os passos do teu predecessor, conservar-te altruísta até ao final sem final.

Sabes já tudo – escolhe o teu caminho.

Olha a luz suave que inunda o céu oriental. Céu e Terra unem-se em gestos de adoração.

E dos poderes quadruplamente manifestados sobe um cântico de amor, tanto do fogo que brilha como da água que corre,

da terra perfumada e do vento que passa.

Escuta! Do grande e insondável vórtice daquela luz dourada em que o Vencedor se banha,

toda a voz sem palavras da natureza se ergue para em mil tons proclamar:

Alegrai-vos, ó homens de Myalba (Nossa Terra).

Um peregrino regressou da outra margem.

Nasceu um Arhan (Novo Salvador do Mundo).

Paz a todos os seres!”

“Now bend thy head and listen well, O Bôdhisattva - Compassion speaks and saith:

"Can there be bliss when all that lives must suffer?

Shalt thou be saved and hear the whole world cry?"

if thou would'st be Tathâgata, follow upon thy predecessor's steps, remain unselfish till the endless end.

Thou art enlightened - Choose thy way.

Behold, the mellow light that floods the Eastern sky.

In signs of praise both heaven and earth unite.

And from the four-fold manifested Powers a chant of love ariseth, both from the flaming Fire and flowing Water,

and from sweet-smelling Earth and rushing Wind.

Hark! . . . from the deep unfathomable vortex of that golden light in which the Victor bathes,

ALL NATURE'S wordless voice in thousand tones ariseth to proclaim:

Joy unto ye, O men of Myalba (Our Earth).

A Pilgrim hath returned back "from the other shore."

A new Arhan (New World Saviour) is born. . .
